So, I’m listening to Lupe Fiasco’s catalog (minus Lasers). And I realized that a lot of people don’t know the story of “The Cool”. His work (minus Lasers dammit) really was an audio novel.

Characters:

Michael Young History/My Cool Young History (“the Cool”)

The Streets (Pretty green eyed lady)…

Kind of out of order (The Cool happens directly after Michael Young Cool is rejected from heaven and hell [See “Superstar” and the lyric “Hustler for death, no Heaven for a gangsta” in “The Cool”] which happens directly after “put you on game”, not the other way around. And I never though of Kick Push I & II as a part of the story. Interesting take. And good read, apart from that one gripe.
